Hey Ordinary!

Hope you have a happy Memorial Day! If you just thought this was an arbitrary day where everyone gets off work, goes to the lake, and grills hamburgers- you’re wrong.

Today is where we take a moment in our lives to honor or service men and women who have faithfully served our nation over the ages. Our nation is a beacon of hope.  Our religious freedom, civil liberties, and economic freedom we enjoy in our country is unprecedented in the world. My family risked their lives escaping communist Vietnam on a tiny fishing boat. Why? To escape to China? To escape to Europe? No- to escape to America. If it wasn’t for service men and women like you through out the history of our country, where else would people escape to?

On behalf of my family to yours, thank you. Thank you for your sacrifices. Thank you for your time away from your families. Thank you for your lives.
